Supervision

Clinical Supervision for Practising Psychologists, Cognitive Behaviour Therapists and other psychological therapists.

All practising psychological therapists are required to have regular clinical supervision to comply with the regulations of their registering body (usually the Code of Conduct of The British Psychological Society, The Health Professions Council or the BABCP). Dr Suzanne Glendenning is an experienced clinical supervisor having supervised a range of practitioners over a number of years, including qualified and trainee Clinical Psychologists, Cognitive Behaviour Therapists and Mental Health Workers. She has completed supervision courses run by local Doctoral Training Courses for Clinical Psychologists and training courses for the supervision of IAPT high intensity therapists. Supervision can be tailored to the needs of the individual therapist or team and may cover integrative psychological therapy, CBT models and techniques, interpersonal theory and processes, attachment styles and other therapeutic issues.

Private and confidential supervision sessions in a suitable environment can be arranged on a regular basis in the Bolton area, and if required consideration can be given to arranging alternative locations for supervision.
